Guacamaya, July 15, 2025. Ahead of the upcoming municipal elections on July 27, the National Electoral Council (CNE) announced the activation of an Electoral Offer Dissemination system (DOE). Through this digital tool, citizens will be able to access information about the candidates and participating political organizations.

On the interactive platform, available at https://doe.postulaciones.org.ve/em2025, the CNE includes the options for each municipality and state across the country. Voters accessing the site will find the ballots of the authorized parties, their mayoral candidates, as well as the nominees for municipal councilors under both nominal vote and list vote systems.

In addition to this resource, the CNE activated last month the Telegram bot “Electoral Registry,” a tool designed to help consult polling station locations. Electoral authorities have invited citizens to use these resources and stay attentive to official information related to the ongoing electoral process.

According to the organization, these upcoming elections will select a total of 2,806 positions nationwide, distributed among 335 mayors, 1,420 councilors elected by list vote, 982 nominal councilors, and 69 indigenous representation councilors. On election day, July 27, a popular consultation on youth projects for community development will also be held.

Despite these announcements, the CNE has not yet reactivated its official website, which has remained offline for nearly a year following claims of a hacking incident during the 2024 presidential elections. The lack of regular communication channels, combined with the absence of detailed, polling-station-level results from recent elections, has fueled growing distrust in the electoral system.
